i have a 96 xlt 4x4 extended cab and was wondering if anyone knows what size speakers are in the front doors and if you think this sub is decent enough to put under the back seat...i dont want anything that rattles everything, just add some bass to my stereo....thanks
in the front doors its 6 1/2's, but if you put 5 1/4s it sounds way clearer with high tones. in your back posts of your cab they are 4X6's. Id run the speakers to an amp so they sound way clearer.
as for the sub, id just get the new rockford thin mount 10. it will fit under your seat, you just got to get a box made for it so it faces up if you plan to haul people in the back seat (forward facing ones tend to be kicked alot)
what kind of deck are you running your system off of?
Are you running an amp to your component speakers (door/post speakers)
