oil pump
This may sound elementary, but my 84 F150 loses oil pressure after driving for a few moments. It will hold up just fine after startup until it goes in drive. Then, the pressure slowly goes down to almost nothing. I let it idle for a minute or two with no pressure registering because the engine sounded fine(no lifter tick or anything). I didnt let it go too long, though. What is the verdict? Oil pump, or something more severe? I havent ever had a pump go bad like this.
