2002 sd250 speakers

from what i have looked it seems as if i have 4 speakers in my truck one in each door.... is this correct or with my xl edition do i only have front speakers... i have a plastic grille on all 4 doors, i am just curious

It should have 4 5x7's but Ford is known to skip the back speakers on some of their lines. At least you will have the holes for them

I believe the XL trucks only came with 2 speakers, but the holes and wiring harness are there so you can hook up all 4.

i cant say for sure if they are there or not... but i can say that if they arent... the wiring is there... actually. If a model of your truck had cruise control or power windows or power seats or w/e. Than the connectors and wiring harnesses are in your truck some where... Usually a p.i.t.a. to find and hook up... but its there.

im am looking to upgrade my stereo system in my truck
i am not to good with car electronics and or audio
i found a component system from crutchfield that seems ok
let me know what yall think
and could anyone help me understand the "crossover"?
