I've got a 2000 EB Expy w/the mach audio. I just replaced my headunit for the Avic-D3X. I have a 10" sub and amp from my last car in my garage just waiting to be used. I've seen those thunderform setups from crutchfield that are supposed to replace the mach audio amp and sub that are set in the wall in the 3rd row. Is there a way to just but that piece w/o the sub and amp and use my own? Also can u put that in and put the cover back on so no one can see it?

There's no way to buy the housing itself without the sub that I know of. You could just get the non-amplified sub and use your amp. I installed the amplified MTX in mine and yes, you can put the cover back on, they fit in there nicely. Here's a Crutchfield link to the sub's I'm refering to. I was just trying to find out if I could buy just the houseing, no sub or amp. Expansivevanband may be doing the install for this one too. I've been emailing him about it and we'll see what happens.
I have a clarion amp and rockford sub just sitting in my garage collecting dust. Figured if there was a way to use them instead of just throwing them out I should.

About alls you could do is have one custom made if your determined on using the speaker you have, but that might be pricey. I have heard of people modifiying their stock one, buying an after market speaker to put in it, and running off a seperate amp. If I were you, I'd buy one of those non-amplified ones on that link I posted earlier, then use the amp you have to power it. I know that the one I have blows the stock sub away. I still need to help you post your photo's, I'll try to PM you tonight.
