Hello I need your help sir as many of us do here on FTE LOL! I am currently refreshing my Instrument cluster for my 66 F-100 and I know a while back in a post you said you could use something to help clean up the scratches on the clear plastic lense for the instrument cluster. Just wondering if you could tell me again what that might be as I am trying to finish this project for an up coming car/truck show this weekend. Thanks for any help you can offer.

Meguiars makes a plastic polish, but after using it, I found it wasn't too effective, so I went back to the old stand-by....
Toothpaste!
I use Crest, but prolly any tube toothpaste will work.
Mix it with a little water. This takes time, so don't rush to judgement after the first application doesn't remove all the scratches.
It also removes the yellow discoloration (caused by the sun) from plastic headlamp lenses used on modern piles.
