I need some help with the adjustment of the parking brake for a 94 Ranger (2w drive). When I had new brakes installed last week they told me the adjustment on the parking brake was max out already. The pedal goes to the floor. It does hold but barely. Is there anyway to adjust the parking brake of a 94 Ranger besides from the brake shoes?

There could be an adjustment where the one cable turns into two,under the chassis. You could possibly have stretched cables too. I have had that happen before,,,,98
