New 302EFI sputtering
I just replaced my old 302 EFI with a rebuilt longblock. After finally getting it in, it would not start for the longest time. After some tweaking, setting the time and so forth....finally got it to run. I took it out the first time and it seemed to want to stall...in fact it did! Brought it back to my shop and rotated the distrubuter just a bit. Now it dos'nt stall, but it has a bit of a sputter problem....it dos'nt run totally/completely smooth even upon acceleration. It has newer plug wires/distributer/and plugs. And I went over the engine to make sure all wires and vac. lines were hooked up. Any ideas? Try the timing again? My truck and I would appreciate any help
