I have a 2000 Excursion 7.3, 200,000 miles
rear brakes are fine while cold but when running in stop and go traffic rear brakes lock-up fronts are fine.
If I let sit for 5 minutes go back to normal.
I am not familiar with your vehicle but I would suggest, if your rear brakes are disc brakes you have sticking calipers. If drum brakes may be sticking wheel cylinders, brakes out of adjustment of excessive dust build up. Regardless of the type of rear brake it could also be a defective rear flexi brake hose.
I would think calipers sticking closed would be noticeable as you drive. However, when you did the rears, did you clean out the old grease from the slide pins and replace it with a quality lube? Your current lube could be braking down when it gets hot and not allowing your calipers to float back and forth.
