Dented car = dented pocket

I wanted to get some dents out of the hood of my Jeep. I gave a call to a PDR guy and he gave me an estimate of $900. I about lost my pants !! I have another PDR guy coming by to look at it and give me an estimate.
I am thinking of getting a paint less dent removal tool and working on it myself. I saw a dent puller tool (not the cheap TV ad ones)
Dent Fix Equipment (DFXDF-DM100) Paintless Dent Repair Pro Kit<br><img src="/free-shipping.gif" width="79" height="26" border="0"> - DFXDF-DM100

I have never done this before. Just watched some videos in You Tube !! I do have another hood to practice on.

Any tips suggestions for me?

Toying around with another idea. The other hood is not in bad shape. Paint is scratched up and a few dings here and there. Would it more sense to to fill up the dings with body filler, sand it down and then paint?

At lunch today, I inspected my spare hood. It has about 4 or 5 small digns, but couple bigger dents. Since I am not worried about paint getting destroyed or anything? What would be the best way to pull them out before I smooth them out with body filler?

Paintless dent repair is done with very special & very expensive tools ..& very much experience ...

The tool you listed is good for nothing ,,don't waste your money ...unless you can handle dent repair & painting ,,better get a hood from ...here....sort by distance & look for one the right color....
