Wow...that truck folded like a cheap tent. I wonder how long it was submerged in that near freezing water? The cold must have made that frame brittle.

If that was a Ford, they probably could have pulled it out of the water and then just drove it away!!!

We(my family) had a truck(chevy) that sat at the bottom of a lake until the ice melted, it was still road worthy when it came out. This is all in the way they were pulling it out and I'm sure Chevy/Ford/Dodge/Toyota/Nissan would have all had the same results, just we got lucky and we can make fun of the chev guys since it was a chev.

So many people love to Ford bash that it's good to see another make get some bashing, and to see it on video only puts the icing on the cake. All I have to say is thank God for auto insurance.

I'm pretty sure the owner was that 20 something guy who got all p'ssed off in the vid link I put out. that or the old guy saying it was ruined

I gotta agree with Rollerstud98. why in the heck would they pull the front end like that. most ice recoveries use 2x12's as sliders...this video didn't show any???

That's just bad..... They can never say their frame is just as strong as Ford's fully boxed frame.
