do u have any leaking valve covers, CRD or rear main seal? they can let oil soak into the clutch rendering it useless.

Do you have plenty of free play at the clutch release lever?

I dont think there is any oil leaking, and i dont know how much play there is...but it engages fine, but feels like its not lettin out all the way, which is causing the slipping...but i dont know. I am gonna fully inspect it tonight.

Exactly the point. If there is no free play at the clutch release lever then the clutch is being held in. Check also for free play at the pedal.
