So i dont know if you fellas noticed but there is now a 6.7l diesel forum and 4.4l diesel as well as a 6.2l boss forum the 6.7l is supposbly coming in 2010 since there has been some comotion between Ford and there engine makers that maybe fords new in house motor so by them putting a forum up for these engine im assuming they are going to be produced

i'll be checking out that 4.4 a lot... thats highly likely to be my next modern truck...

I saw that yesterday -I think the sooner they get rid of the 6.4 / 6.0 nightmares the better off they will be!
It would be nice to see a new Superduty platform in conjunction with the new engine.

Yeah that is true but i have heard a lot of good and bad about the 6.4l

The 4.4 diesel was originally slated for use in the 2009 half tons but its future is uncertain.

Plus with all the emissions crap going on in 2010 its gonna be quite the year. I hear thats why cummins is having more problems then usual with their new light truck engines. They SUPPOSEDLY are trying to get a jump on the emissions so they have all the bugs worked out by them, where the other manufacturors wont.

Either way, unless diesel really climbs in price, its looking more and more like I will be getting one of those 4x4 diesels myself. Would be a great daly driver to have.

Oh no kidding lol no the 4.4l is a V8 i guess but who knows i have heard ford and dodge are working on diesels for there 1/2tons
