I have a 88 F150 5.0 95000 miles is running rough at times. The garage gave me this results. Starting on the passenger side front and going straight to the fire wall. 150, 145, 145 155. Starting on the driver side and going straight back to the fire wall. 150, 155, 120, 98. As you can see the last two on the driver side are low. I am loosing a little bit of coolant every couple of months.
Side note I also have an oil pressure problem once the truck warms up I loose all pressure at a stop, but running on the road the pressure is fine.
Well, two adjacent cylindars with low compression, and lossing water are both signs of a head gasket failure.
I would try pressurizing the number 8 cylindar and see where the air is leaking to.
