Hello FORD Maniac's I need some advice

I have a 98 ford ranger that is two wheel drive but have found a 84-85 ford ranger that is a four wheel drive and I would like to transfer my body and bed to the 4x4 chassis and then add a 302. I know it is possible but I'd like to know the difficulty level and some possible pointers and helpful hints to to get the job done right and quick so if anybody can help me that would be great. If there's any suggestions I'm all ears for any help I can get.
THANKS FOR HEARING ME OUT YOUR FRIEND CRAZYMANATEEMAN

I think you are better off putting a V8 into the 84-85 Ranger, especially if the old Ranger is carbbed.

Is the old Ranger's body shot? That is why you want to use the 98s one?

It can be done- the swap - take measurements and look into the electronics for the V8 swap this is the area that will slow the swap process.
