OK guys I got my BB and I am ready to do the shim.............before I do......I tested my pressure with a tire gauge.....twice.........got 45 each time........my truck is running just fine, so what is the normal spec. pressure and do you think I should go ahead and do the mod.

Just for info........yesterday I took the FPR cap off just to see what I was dealing with..........didn't see any spring.........although I didn't look up in there.........shouldn't the spring have pushed itself out after the cap was off?

Yes, add the BB and check your pressure again. Normal pressure should be no higher than 80 PSI. Clean the screen while you're in there. You won't be sorry.

Make sure you're removing the large plug; not the schrader valve. Look at the picture closely. There should be a spring in there.
The valve you took the reading off of is not where the BB goes.
Mooseman...........I'm cleaning the screen today, but on the 26th I'll be coming through your area on my way to Montana.........so if you think you see your truck..........it will be mine, same color........except mine will have two Saint Bernards in the back..............
