ive got an 84 f150 and a 351 it has an edelbrock performer intake and 600cfm carb i was wondering how far to adjust the 2 screws on the front i tried doing what the directions said but i cant tell when it idle changes so if anyone has this setup what is yours set at
I also have the edelbrock carb and if you have messed with the front idle mixture screws to the point you are lost I can help from the factory they come 1 and a half turns out so that should get you back to start. As far as to what to set them at it is different from place to place due to air pressure, etc. I left mine as is and it drives fine unless it is cold then it needs warmed up as does every other edelbrock and holley. Try that and see what happens good luck
Just so you don't think I am guessing I was told this from edelbrock themselves as yourself I was wondering about the adjustment when I purchased it and needed more info to get a better perspective they told me 1 and a half turns out from the factory and they thought this should be fine unless it was running rough. Again good luck
