Road Demon carb
After ~60 miles around town and on the freeway I like it a lot. Very smooth and no stumbles. I did have to buy a looong 3/32" hex key to adjust the secondary plates to get the idle down. Otherwise, set the float and leaned out the idle circuits a bit then on the road with no worries. Except the choke linkage. I did have to massage the hell out of the air cleaner base so it would clear the linkage/shaft.
And then there's that wacky 5/16" air cleaner shaft.
It runs a bit rich on a 302 but should be right for the 351. It's a lot quieter than the Edlebrock carb was too. That seems weird, but you can't hear air being drawn into the engine as much. Less of a giant sucking sound. Strange but true.
