Coolant filter

While checking this site for the 203 thermostat I found this and just wanted to get some opinions on it.1999-2003 Ford 7.3L Powerstroke Coolant Filtration System

It doesn't hurt, but you'll get more usage out of it if you've never had your coolant flushed. Much of the casting sand gets flushed out. I'd buy mine again.

Thats why I was searching for the 203 thermostat cause I'm gonna be doing a flush soon and was wondering about this.

I would go with an Extended Life Coolant that does not need SCA or a filter. Less expensive and less maintenance. MY 2 cents.
