Can I remove the sirius satellite radio antenna?

I want to remove the sirius satellite radio antenna and wonder how it is attached. Is it just stuck to the roof or is there a hole drilled in the roof?

Thanks.

I'm nit sure what model of vehicle you're talking about, but I'd guess that theres a wire attached to it

Haven't done any work on the '08s quite yet, but I am 99.9% sure that they are still using the 800MHz band style antenna.....and yes, these antennas DO have a hardwire setup.....ie...there is a hole drilled through the roof to connect the antenna to the head unit. You can probably get a roof plug at any decent radio shop in your area.

If you are planning to discard that antenna, I would deal with you to obtain it.

If it is magnetic the wire will be sticking out of it. It is easy to remove - just pry gently on one side. If you don't see a wire then you have a hole drilled in the cab.
