well, i sold the old case 930 today. just got back from delivery. the guy was so impressed by looking he didnt even set on the seat of it. he had me fire it up, and walked around it. he loved it. he said, "so could you deliver tonight?" i said "for a fee". i took it 140 miles one way for the $6500 sale and $200 delivery. he woulda prolly gave $7000 without blinking but i got what i needed out of it. i have found a case 1210 65 horse tractor here in town with a front end loader, with 4400 hours. it appears to be nice. will know more monday. they are asking $8500. hope it works out, and isnt like my dump truck.

as for the truck- I OUT PULLED A 6.0!!!!!! IT appeared he was givin it its all (who dont on hills?) it wasnt smoking at all. i had 17,000 ish pounds behind me. he had about a 25 foot camper (if it was that big) behind him. i was folling him on the interstate. straight of ways he was going 75 ish. hills he pulled down to about 65, and it wasnt very windy. i pulled out and sailed by him on the next hill and flat stretches he'd be up on my butt, and hills he'd fall well behind. LOL. the truck was full when i left. went 275 miles round trip and a lil over 1/4 tank in one tank, and just shy of the red on the other tank. i stayed hammered the whole way. hills i just had to watch EGT. i never let it get to 1,000*, usually kept below 950 on hills and not that high for long. all in all it was a good day of towing.

You have a 10 k trailer? I'm getting old but I'm pretty sure I've seen those 830's slip into the 8500 K pulling class with ease.
