tough header question

I have a 67 f100 with a 351W. The person who did the swap installed headers. (these are not block huggers) He had to dent the back 2 tubes down on the drivers side about 50% to clear the steering box. I want to replace the headers with block huggers My problem is most header manufacturers don't give dinentions on their block huggers (sanderson headers are the exception $265)I understand that a 302 is a narrower block than a 351W so f100's with a 302 with headers dont apply (i think). does anyone out there in ford land have any experience or can they help with my problem? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

tough header question

I don't think I can help you with your problem. I'm just questioning if the swap to 351 was done using the correct mounts. A 352 is wider then the 351, and headers clear the steering box just fine. If the correct mounts were used, the head on the drivers side of the 351 would be so close to the firewall, you can't even stick your hand in between them. As far as the Sanderson headers go, I have a set of the block huggers. They're well made, but you need a 90 degree tight bend on one side. I can't see that being very good for performance.
