I know its not a FORD! But ya'll are like my family from far far away..
Welcome the newest addition to my family.. I'm so excited, like having your first child LMAO!
I'm on the Reserve so no riding photos.. Need to get some fuel in the baby.. But it RUNS amazing for a 750 thats not really a street rocket.. It's real comfortable too! I pick up my gear next week so no street riding.. Mostly I took it around my neighborhood.. Guys around here LOVE it.. I had a little boy chasing me on a bicycle lol..
Here's a video of the stock exhaust.. I'm going to probably move to a Two Brothers slip on exhaust.
Cool either way be safe!! We don't need to have TNT come on here and tell us that Storm was taken out by a Toyota Prius. Ten years ago I almost sold one of my Atv's to buy a bike, but before I did I was run off the road on one of my cousin's bikes (when we were on one of our many weekend rides), and was messed up for most of the summer. There too many stupid drivers out here not paying attention, so I decided to just stay on the trails.

I agree.. I'm using the bike from commute to work.. I can take back roads through the country to my office.. I wont EVER get on the interstate.. I don't trust folks.. When I did my clinicals when I was in EMS school long time ago I saw some nasty bike wrecks.. So I'm way aware of the dangers.. I'm going to an advanced riding class in couple weeks to teach me how to be safe..
Storm, nice but my knees don't bend like that any more. In fact they're starting to ache just looking at that bike. I have a '05 Harley Dyna Sport with forward controls and even with them I wish I had another couple inches of stretch room. I took it in this past week but it still gets into the 30's at night sometimes and that's just a tad cold for the 40 mile commute, even with the full suit and heated hand grips...
On the other hand, I like the 40+ MPG I get with it!

Actually, as long as you're not doing anything STOOPID, the Interstate is probably safer than surface streets.
When I got my first bike (years ago), the 2nd thing I did with it was ride it from College Station to the far south side of Houston. Interstate/freeway didn't phase me a bit. I didn't get scared until I got OFF the freeway and started riding the surface streets. And then I was just short of terrified. It took me a couple of weeks to get used to riding around town.
Sure, you hit harder when you're going faster (when you dump it) but there just isn't the same kind of "out of nowhere" kind of hazard on the interstate that there is on the streets.
Storm congrats on the new ride.I am a motorcycle person and have read a couple of books that are priceless for riders. #1 Keith Codes A Twist of the Wrist(if you read no other read this IMHO) #2 Kenny Roberts The Soft Science of Motorcycle Racing. #3 A Twist of the Wrist vol 2. The books are not so much to teach you to go fast but more to train you to understand the physics of what your machine is doing at all times. Have fun and make eye contact at every intersection.
Oh I see. Yeah, I seen that comment that one guy left you, somthing about a new house!! Im happy for you!! Bigger and nicer? Or more convinient location?

all 3.. went from 2-Story to Brand New 1-Story (cut utility bills in half, no more upstairs to heat/cool), better location, and nicer..
We are still unpacking and buying stuff, building stuff.. Been a long couple weeks.. The house was completed few weeks ago and we ended up rushing into it..
