but the seats are connected, its one big seat at the bottom, only the top is split. So its not possible for the two sides to slide independantly.
I think its the piece needed to allow the drivers side seat to fold. Thats what i'm hoping it is, otherwise thats broken. hah
I assume the tracks are bent to follow the shape of the truck better. My current tracks dont really follow the shape, these ones look like they do. I would have to drill new holes though
The floor pan is definitely an odd shape. If your current seat doesn't fit properly, it is most likely a swapped seat. If the new seat tracks fit better use them. Drilling is no big deal since you can use steel tape from the bottom to seal any bad holes.
Give it a go and see what looks best. Most seat swaps wind up with a modification of two. I have swapped twice and continue to use the original bench.
Nope, doesn't have a center track.
Now it does have this long skinny metal piece. The guy said it should clip right on (I believe its needed to allow the driver side to fold down) but I can't figure it out... Anyone know what this piece is?
Could the guy you bought it from not know what he's talking about ?
The only differance between the seats (less track) should be the split back.
The supercab backs have 10" cables inside to release the latch and fold forward individually.
The regularcab should have a long piece to tie the two latches together.
