big problems 302 1985
Edelbrock 4 barrel (remanufactured). new crane cam selected for high torque. new distrubutor
(dual vacuum port w/magnetic p/up). New ignition control. No matter what we do with the
timing, she dogs out super woof. 1/2 hour running time, all plugs black exept for one
which is perfectly normal. Mechanic can't remember from what cylinder it came but
thinks it was #3. Where are the two ports for distributor supposed to be connected for the
proper operation of the advance and retard circuit, and could we have a communication
problem between the ignition box, coil, and distributor?
Please help!!!
By the way, new Ford wires, cap, rotor, and spark plugs.
