Vibration Problem
I have a 05 F-250 XLT CC FX4 5.4L. It has 53,000 miles. I got new tires approx. 3 weeks ago. 285-70-17 BFG All Terains. When they were mounted and I got the truck around 65 - 70 mph I got a horrible vibration. I took them back and they rebalanced numerous times and tried 3 sets of tires and when they put the 3rd set on they called me and told me that I had a bent wheel. I took to another tire shop and they confirmed that wheel was bent. they said it was bent to the point that i would have known all along but there were no vibration problems prior to this. instead of going with a new factory wheel i went with all aftermarket wheels. they got mounted and you still have the vibration. neither shop can find anything except that mabye the tires don't match this truck very well. any Ideas? or has any one had this problem?

My mustang fronts have them balanced while on the car - I don't think they do that with trucks though because of the solid axle. They didn't do it to the rear of my 'stang so I guess this is the reason...
