Roof Carrier for Excursion

Is anyone using a roof carrier on their Excursion? If so, what brand? I am looking to buy one and want to know if anyone has found one that works well on the low roof rack.

Thanks

I dont have a roof basket yet, but I did by the Yakima rack setup in anticipation of a basket of some type in the future. I dont think the stock cross bars are really the best options to mount things on. Get yourself the Yakima/Thule cross bars and landing gear and from there you can mount almost anything on the roof very easily with various adapters from the MFG.

I am thinking of the largest packasport model that is available. I think that in black would be a nice compliment to the pewter color of the excursion.

I bought mine off a guy on EBAY that builds them to your size and greyhounds them to you. I have had it up there for 3 years and it has solidified my truck as a "Redneck" vehical in town....Oh well.

I have a Thule Titan om my wish list.

It is low, and with open front- and rear end, you won't have to much wind noise. Have seen it on a Sub here in Norway. Looks good
