Speedodometer recalibration
I just put new tires on E350 super duty van 2004 model and took it in to dealer to recalibrate computer to new tires...guess what they said it could not be done because the new tires are to big for the van. Old tires were stock 245-75/16 doughnuts changed to 265-75/16 real tires and speedometer is approximately 3 mph to fast. Any Ford techs out there have any recommendations??

They can go up to 35 in tires. They are filling you with $%$#. The computer will allow up to (or depending how you look at it down to 601 revs per mile) Your tires are aprox. 656 revs. Well into the range capable of being changed.
