No idea. But I do believe that using a linear amplifier to transmit on a CB is illegal. Don't get caught!
It's also really irritating to be on the highway next to somebody transmiting at high-power; it about blows your eardrums out.
The FCC ***** don't enforce the CB stuff like they did in the 70s, but they will come down on people if there is a complaint.

Maybe ask on a CB Radio site as well ?
I was sure FCC rules are max 5 watts unless you are an emergency operator.
I have a 500w bi-linear amp because I usually set up the mobile base station in the Kananaskis area when it was required.
Imagine if you will a 68 Volvo 123GT with a bumper mount holding an an 18.5' antenna on top of an 16 ft mast ... Pulling & Pumping 500 watts
