lost speedometer
have lost speedometer, odometer and the overdrive shutoff keeps flashing. feels like overdrive may be trying to kick in and out. hard to tell tonight as road was snow/ice covered. fuse panel cover shows 18 maybe but fuse looks good. this is a 97 F250HD with auto and 4X4. all other gauges seem to be working. any ideas would be helpful, thanks

Lesson: never trust what the fuse panel cover says. Turned out to be a fuse after all. Only found it when I was checking to see why my dome lights didn't work. Didn't see anything on the cover for that fuse which would have pointed me to it as a source for the other problems.
