I have a solid roller cam with .677"/.688" lift and I plan on using Dart Sr heads. My block has been decked .010". I'm thinking there is going to be a problem with piston to valve clearance with the high lift of the cam, larger 2.02/1.60 valves and shorter deck. If so, is there a piston already availible that will fix this? If I have to have the valve reliefs milled on a set of pistons, how much does that cost?
Also, I bought my lifters used...they are supposed to be Comp Cams solid rollers, but I need to know for sure because I want to send them back to Comp Cams for reconditioning. Is there an easy way of verifying that they are indeed Comp Cams? Any idea on how much this may cost? Thanks!!
