Change spark plugs they were rusty so bad that I couldn't get socket fit.

Change dist cap, rotor they were arc badly, spark plugs wireset, and fill rear tires.

Never knew how huge affect on rear tires on low pressure. It was 40 psi but it look it fine. Fill to 80 psi then drove highway it feel like it roll so easy that you don't need push gas pedal more than it need.

I forgot it my new plow truck. 95 F250 351W with flatbed. 77k miles original

It E load tires Max 80 psi plus F250's cab sticker say rear tire should be 80 psi and front tire should be 45 but with 8'6 plow it squat and owner told me use 65 psi for front tire that why it was so easy to steering with that 65 psi in front tire.

if you dont have a load in back, you might consider 65psi there, as well. might give you a better ride

Try that it make little difference plus I have no job so mpg is important to me now.

Hope it get 15 mpg since it 4.10 so it impossible I let you know next week what mpg it would be. But brake is drag so we see.

I notice very huge improve when you coast to try save gas and brake. With tires at 40 psi it drop speed fast which you couldn't keep coast longer than you expect. Try 65 psi it kind ok but could notice when on bridge. Try 80 psi Huge improve and could coast for 1 1/2 miles from 65 mph to 25 mph

First you need try 40 psi and drive on highway or non busy road like country you try that at 70 mph then try 65 psi then try 80 psi. So you can figure which is best.

You would notice how roll it easy when lot psi. But understand ride would be really rough with 80 psi. If I go to deer camp I low to 50-60 psi to reduce shake and bounce from dirt road.

I,m glad you like it Skeefoo!
I have noticed that you guys in the states rarely have flatbeds on your utes unless they are 350s+.
Flare sides and style sides seem to be the most popular!
Over here we tend to have a higher% of tray back utes to style side utes!
Tradesmen prefer the extra load carying capacity.

As for where you want to go in Australia, that depends on when you come and what you want to do.
If you come in summer, east coast, brisbane, surfers paradise, sydney all have great beaches to visit.
Sydney also has the harbour sights etc to check out!
Blue mountains west of sydney has a bit to see and do there too!
Melbourne is an older style city which is nice to visit too but you must plan to spend at least a couple of weeks in tasmania!!!
What an awesome place to go!
Every stop is no more than 1-1.5 hrs apart and its tourist driven place which has plenty to see !!
2 weeks there isnt enough, but you can have time to see a fair bit in that time!

*I* finally got my exhaust system on my F350 crewcab. Got tired of driving with "just manifolds" getting a headache before backing out of the driveway (one of the drawbacks of having an exhaust system fall off your daily driver is you have to drive it anyway - sometimes).

Anyway, re-used the "Y" pipe by patching the bad spots, pulled a good O2 sensor out of the junk drawer and rewired the connector to fit the truck, and used a good cat I had lying around, and bought a $50 "high performance, high flow" muffler my auto store had sitting on the shelf for year and was more than happy to get rid of. A few brackets, an elbow, and an hour welding and bolting and it's done.

It's short and doesn't reach the rear wheel, but it does extend past the crewcab part of the truck so the exhaust will hopefully not get into the passenger compartment.

It does drone at idle to about 1100 rpm, then I can barely hear it so mission accomplished.

Possibly not a traditional inspection,As in most states, but,DMV pointed out that
"by the book",(I could be ticketed) for not having marker lights, and reflectors,on any bed,or deck after certain dimensions,,Its not a wash, they gave us a booklet that had the requirements, dimensions, color, and locations where such articles had to be installed,to satisfy D.O.T. If you happened to be pulled by the wrong cop,at the wrong time, ect, you Could be issued a citation.most likely, not, but I wanted to cover my A--,just in case, since the fine and related hardships one would
have to satisfy for such an infraccion would certainly be in a 3$$$ digit figure.

Went to replace one of my busted fog light switches with another toggle switch I had laying around. No good, old switch only two prongs, new ( spare ) had 4. Gave up, found out whoever the genius that drove it last ( No Old Ford Man names mentioned here ) left the lights on. Since Tues. A.M., jump started with The Beast & let it run for a while to charge. Shut it off, re-started like nothing ever happened.
