Keep grabbing them. The manufacturers are trying to get away from books and want to sell service literature in CD format. I've been collecting shop manuals, parts books and related literature for years. Along with pickups I have lots of info on older medium and heavy trucks. Comes in handy time to time.

Drove her into town today to meet a guy from craigslist about a camera lens. Got a compliment from another guy on how nice my truck looked while I was there.

Well, have you ACTUALLY looked at your truck? No wonder you're getting compliments....

If your sitting at a store and you have the option, get a Haynes manual. I have the Haynes manual for my truck, and my friend has the Chilton manual. It may not be this was for all trucks, but for these trucks, the Chilton manual lacks so much information, it's useless for a lot of tasks.

Hah, looking is easy. It's trying to look away that's hard. I've tripped over things before because I'm still looking at her when I'm walking away. Makes me feel kinda vain.

took everything out of the toolbox, vacuumed toolbox, scrubbed toolbox, scrubbed each item, put all items back into toolbox. I think that's all I'm gonna do today.

Changed the diff oil and repaired some wiring that controls the power lock switch on the drivers side.

Then I put some degreaser mixed with water in a spray bottle and sprayed the diff around the filler hole to see if it leaks or not.

Got one, the box with the black lid has all my emergency stuff, so I can pull it out and put in in my mounty for the winter. Jumper cables, spot light, tow strap, celvis, rope, all in that box. This is gonna need some thought.
