What have you done to your truck today?
Changed my engine temp sending unit for the dash gauge. Haven't drove it yet to see if it will read somewhere in the normal range instead of cold.
What a job it was to get the actual sending unit. The parts person brought out three different ones before they brought me the correct one. First they brought me the oil sending unit, then the computer sending unit (even though I told them repeatedly I needed the one for the gauge with one wire connector), then the sending unit for the idiot light and finally the one for the gauge! We had a good laugh about the confusion.

Removed cats, replaced with a walker 40279 y pipe with a welded o2 sensor bung. Removed air injection to exhaust line and valves. Had already removed thermactor tube when I had the heads off last summer. Removed vacuum lines to TAB and TAD, rerouted EVR direct to intake manifold. Have a dummy pulley for smog pump for later (going fishing first). Also replaced passenger side manifold because the original's flange studs were too rusted to bother fighting with it anymore. Replaced a broken exhaust hanger. Old o2 sensor split in half during removal attempt, so replacing with a denso. Still need an o2 sensor extension harness, so ordered that and should arrive monday.
Have collected F350 parts for dual battery install (had a leftover AGM when I switching trolling motor to lithium) and have towing harness and relay box now to install with a brake controller later this summer. Hoping to get weatherstripping installed before fishing trip!

Hello Everyone!
I am frequent on the 7.3 forum and recently bought a 95 CCLB with a 5.8 as a driver and future donor while the 7.3 is getting some much needed love.
Anyway the more I drive the 5.8 the more I like it. I bought it with 146000km and now have 148000 in less than 1 month of ownership. I put two new tanks in it as it had been sitting in the woods for a number of years before I pulled it out. Any how it is running good although gutless and thirsty as ever.
Today I plan to replace the exhaust gasket in front of the CAT as the other one has blown out. It should make it a little less noisy.
Good luck with all your projects today!

Put a 4” turbo back exhaust on today. 3” DP and 4” straight flow to the tip. Love the sound. Can really hear the turbo whistle now. Making room on the OBS is easy when you have a hydraulic spreader. Way easier than cutting or beating. I also put a in bed gooseneck plug in as well.
I hope to be able to get it installed next time home.
So, it wasn't too bad with the spreader? Good to know. I have a kit sitting at home and need to install it. I bought a Port-A-Power for this and other things, hoping it would make the downpipe a little easier to fit.
I hope to be able to get it installed next time home.

nope. Hardest part was cutting the old one out. I used the spreader attachment for the port a power and 6-8” 2x4 and had someone pump and release as I moved it around to different spots. Worked really well in my opinion. Had the new DP in place is less than a hour.
I've been given a King Ranch interior out of an F-150, and I'm wondering what to do with it...
The brown won't look right with gray at all, so I'm wondering about dyeing it black, or at least getting the color to be gray instead of brown.
Not sure it's even worth the effort! I've no doubt I can fab up the brackets to get it to fit in my truck, the biggest thing is the color of the leather.
Beyond that, the truck and I have been hauling yard waste and parts for the '07 6.0 I'm trying to fix up.
