What have you done to your truck today?
Did my biannual oil spray. Put about 3 qts of used oil/Fluid Film mix all over the underside. Did inside the front fenders and the bed lips. After 5 yrs in Ohio, it's pretty gummy but still rust free. Not bad for a 1989 F150. I do the hood/doors/tailgate about once a year. They don't get the constant road bath that washes stuff off so they are still oil soaked.
working on the D60 for the CCSB new brakes, locker, seals, yada, yada, was almost done for the day, was going to get the hubs on and lock outs in and be done. well i had both hubs on nuts finger tight, was tightening the first hubs when the axle rolled off the jack stands and bent one hub, FML. luckily i have spares and pulled the spare out and transferred everything from the bent hub to the spare hub and finished up an hour later.
i maybe able to save the hub, we'll see.
no pics SD card for the camera is full

Gave the seat a good shampoo cleaning with homemade soap water in a spray bottle, a vegetable brush and paper towels to pull the dirty water out. Driver's side is done, passenger side still dusty/greasy/muddy.
Also picked up a load of oak to use as siding for the pavilion that we are converting to a chicken house.

I haven't done this for years. My seats are certainly overdue for a good cleaning. That looks nice!
Now to get the body work finished.....
When I first got my truck, I not only cleaned the seats but I nearly gutted the interior and cleaned everything that could be removed except for the dash itself.
I took the seat upholstery off and scrubbed it with a good detergent. It came out looking almost like new.
The PO was a smoker and I wanted to clean off all the tobacco residue and rid the cab of any stench of it. I even wrapped the seat foam in plastic before reinstalling the covers.

on my brothers 91 f150 got the correct thermostat housing bolts and pulled the thrashed old starter out and put one I had laying around in and finally got to hear the thing turn over. Still need to get a few other things done before I can start it up.
On my other brother's 91 F250 got a distributor for it. Getting closer and closer on those trucks but having fun with my 88 finding a C6 transmission.
The 90 we proceeded with finding out what parts we want for the roller cam swap.
nothing done on the other trucks these 4 trucks are our main concern.
