What have you done to your truck today?
Pulled drivers side door panel, removed interior home made door handle replaced it with a new one from the parts house. Replaced all the plastic clips to hold the door panel on. Jimmy rigger the cable making it shorter so it would open from the inside. Hosed off the truck and degreased the motor. Notice while I was out at the willie world the power steering pump is leaking all over the place😡 next on the list.

chip truck;
washed and vacuumed.had to install another valve stem extender.put on some better style valve stem extender mounts so they can't go flying up between the wheels anymore and aired up the one tire from 70 to 80 psi to match the others now (just had new tires put on.)
had to clean up the side of the bed a little and touch up prime/paint.the sides and the rear of the dump are the only old sections left so they keep needing some loving.should replace them this winter.
this winter she should get a rad support,floor board repair,and dump body sides and rear replaced so she stays solid with the rest of the truck.floors are just starting to go,so if i catch 'em now it'll be much easier to repair.
rad support is still "ok" but i see Brad's got some nice ones for sale in the market place.i should just get 'er done now rather than latter.......as long as i can get my heated shop up before snow flies anyway.....knock on wood.
log truck;

Today I pulled the entire intake air system off to clean it up and get ready to do a good cleaning on the throttle body.
I also cleaned out about 5 pounds of rocks, nails and more lemons out of the tail gate. The cover panel near the top of the gate is long gone so debris has been piling up in there for years...

Over the last few days I've rewired most of the locks on the 7.3 and so I have all my doors locking and windows working. Replaced the multifunction switch as well in hopes it would cure my lack of wipers/flash hi beams but to no avail... also got around to installing all new belt line in it as well as the replacement throttle cable I bought. After looking it over closely I may be selling it in the near future... All I've done to Big Blue is give her a wash, put in $60 of gas (only got it one tank) and put on some new wiper blades that have been long overdue.

Drove the ol girl up to Bluffton iowa for a family reunion which was 3.5 hours away. It was me and two other buddies in a single cab truck the whole way up there.... We also had all our campin stuff and i managed to get 18 mpg! That's a big difference from what i got a week and a half ago!
She ran and drove fine the whole way up and back!

got the engine out of the back of one of the trucks and sitting on a pallet and tire till I can get longer bolts to put on my engine stand then I can tear into her. Might be able to tear into her just like it is! This is for my 88 F150.
Have to pull the intake, heads, fly wheels, and a few other things off to inspect the cylinder and cylinder walls. If all is good clean up the engine well stick all my new parts from my old engine on the new one, slap a new water pump and oil pump in their with new gaskets for most of it, pull my old engine stick my Flexplate and torque convertor on their and drop her in and get her running! Then finish installing the mods I have for it.
Also took the Cab fairing that I had originally gotten for my truck but ended up not liking and put it on my brother's 91 F250 and he likes it so probably going to install it on their.
