Sorry man but I'll stick to Rotella in my truck and Penzoil in the wife's

And that's fine. Rotella is a great oil for its additive packs especially for older trucks/cars.. Pennzoil conventional is ok.. The Pennzoil Ultra is an absolute amazing synthetic oil for an off the shelf option.

But dude above calling it snake oil has no basis to call it that other than hearsay

Just called up and orders my next set of BFG's. Spend about 3 hours polishing my front center caps last night and plan to do the rears tonight or tomorrow.

Sounds good. Did you go with the same size? I am contemplating going with a narrower tire when my duratracs wear out and BFG I think has the only 33x10.5 tire. I know the duratracs don't come in that size. I need to try and polish the extra set of caps I have. Mine are a little faded. Might do it when I clean and seal my wheels for the winter.

Do you have any data to back up this "snake oil" claim?

I am doing the 32x11.5's again. I have compared pics of trucks with 33x10.5 and 32x11.5, and I just think the 32x11.5 looks better. I'd love to see how a 32x10.5 looked if they made one.

Discovered I have a coolant leak coming from either the timing cover seal or the water pump. I don't know exactly how to tell which one it is.

That's what I was thinking. If I'm going into it that much to fix a leak, I'm gonna go ahead and replace it while it's off. Looks like the exhaust is gonna be delayed a little longer.

If there's a little puddle of antifreeze sitting ontop of the timing cover... It could be lower intake too

I will double check tomorrow morning. I have some time to figure out where the issue is. I wont be able to fix it till next weekend. Luckily I have another car to drive to school.

Let's keep this thread on track, shall we? There is an entire chapter devoted to lubricants, if anyone wants to keep discussing them I advice going down there.

Did I tell you guys I just got my Flowtech headers? I also got an OTC sliding hammer , it's like a little christmas for me, I'm eager to install the headers and see the gains.
