Condenser

Where does the condenser plug in to? My wire has been ripped off of where ever it plugs in? Does it plug into the voltage regulator? Thanks

There are several around in the engine compartment. They are just for radio noise. Which one are you talking about?

I was at the junkyard again this weekend and found a diesel there so I know it would be the same. The condenser is plugged into the plug that goes into the voltage regulator. What does the condenser do there?

Also with my end being ripped right out of the plug how can I go about getting iy plugged back in there?

That's probably the one that goes to the yellow "A" wire. Like I said, it's just for radio noise.

You can think of a capacitor or condenser as a resistor that has different values at different frequencies. DC from the battery has a frequency of 0, and the condenser looks like a very very large resistance. So it pretty much does nothing.

Little spikes and noisy trash coming from the alternator(this makes a buzzing noise in the radio especially on AM) is a high frequency. This noisy trash rides on top of the DC from the battery. The high frequency noise sees the capacitor as a very low resistance. The case of the capacitor is mounted to ground, so the noise runs to the capacitor and gets shorted to ground, and the good clean DC keeps marching on throughout the truck.

You will find these things on the regulator, the coil, and anywhere else something could cause noise. You can also buy coils or "chokes" at the auto stereo shops, which do the same thing as a capacitor, only they are hooked up differently.
