hi. I have a 90 f250 351w e4od 4x4 moter went bang so I pulled it and found rebuilt carbed 351w to put back in. have heard of a trans controler
does anyone know where to get one. or do I need to find a c6 and transfer
case to get the old girl up and running.

Not free, but cheaper and easier than the c6 convert.
Have you considered keeping your efi, ecu etc and transfering to the new motor?

didnt know I could short block on efi moter is toast but heads up are good
short block on carb moter is all I have need heads up
so you are saying I can use carb block and put heads up from efi and it will work?!!!

Best place to post this is in the Small block windsor forums. Explain your two engines. I would think it's simple bolt on, but with Ford, you never know. The cam might be an issue too, but I know from reading those threads there are several very savy guys on the 351 and you'll have an answer in a day.
Even if you have a challenge or two, I think it would be worth it. Best thing, is the first step (see above) is free.
