does any one know were u can get some like the ones on the fx2. Also i have the crome stock ones that i like but was thinking about painting them or powder coating them. Any one ever done either one. thanks

 

I herculined mine. Works great and cheap to do.

 

i have westin platnium on mine with the black powder coat make sure that you put front mudflaps on your truck mine are bare from the stuff hitting them

 

nice where did u get the herculiner and is it glossy or more of a dull black. thanks any help would be nice. Im going to talk to a guy about powder coating them, but not sure how much it will cost. I just painted my headlights black like the HD and have the black powder coated tool box. Also if u know any one who sells black grills or inserts black please let me know. thanks

 

i ordered some black powdercoated 4" oval tube steps for mine from TruckParts411.com i love them, and they were really cheap !!

 

Got a quart of the herculiner at autozone and its kind of a satin finish, not to shiny, not to dull. Looks a little like LineX and the extra non slip on the bars is nice. I just used a cheapo 2" paint brush to apply it.
