'99-'07 body changes
I was looking for towing mirrors on ebay, and saw some heated ones w/turn signals for '02-'07. wil these fit on a '99? what, if any changes were made to the bodies from 1999-2007? i realize the front grille, bumper, and hood, but besides that, what just won't fit?

There were no changes to the body where the mirrors attach from 1999 to 2008. The only change was that the '99 to '02 mirrors didn't have turn signal lenses (I think I got the years right) and the '03 to 07 added the turn signal and park lights into the mirror (so the wiring changed). And then in '08 they changed the style and added the option of electric telescopic fold and extend.
To add the newer mirrors with turn signals and park lights to your 1999 you would need to run some new wiring for the park light and turn signal. You can find that modification on here by doing a search - several guys have done it.

how hard would it be to wire in the blinker/heater, and for that matter, what about the electronic fold/extend? would the inside door panels interchange so that the controls would look right, or would the panels not look/fit right in the older style trucks?
