Just received a new Key less Remote for my truck. Searched the Forums and no info on procedures for programing a new remote. Dose anyone out there have any info for me.
I also tried the website that came with the remote and it calls for jumping the pins on the harness below the steering column but there isn't one.

My experience:
-Turned Ignition to ON
-Jumped Programming connector (after jumped doors lock, Clicking sound comes from under dash, doors unlock after 5-8 seconds)
-Pushed Remote button ( nothing happens )
-Turn ignition off ( nothing happens )
The reason I purchased a new one was the little hole that holds it on the key ring broke. Its a pain having to find your keys and your key less remote. It still worked perfectly, just wasn't on the key ring.
When i did the above procedure. It cleared the code on the one that worked and won't even let me re program the old on that worked.
Both Remotes I have are the same Product Numbers and the internal boards are identical.
All they guys out there that don't have key less entry are thinking Welcome to the Club.
Happy you talked about the plugs and jumping the pins....I have the same problem you had I purchased a truck and had no key or fob....I have since purchased a fob and I am not sure what pins to jump I only have one black plug under the dash...someone told me I didnt have RKE but the fuse panel has a fuse in the #6 position and is for RKE?
I purchased mine on ebay......the bad news is I just learned on my truck according to the local ford dealer someone has cut out my RKE so mine is worthless.
Ebay is where I found mine.. when I purchased mine there was only one person selling them at the time.. they where used but worked great. I only paid like 20 bucks but cant remember, as it has been a couple of months.
