Early 94 Keyless Remote Programing

Just received a new Key less Remote for my truck. Searched the Forums and no info on procedures for programing a new remote. Dose anyone out there have any info for me.

I also tried the website that came with the remote and it calls for jumping the pins on the harness below the steering column but there isn't one.

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

The keyless remote entry module is to the right of the steering column under the dash....

Just searched my 94 CD no operating info as to Keyless entry, schematics only.

FTE has this info re TSB.....

Thanks for the Post, The Service Bulletin seems to be a wealth of info I was not aware of.

I am going to look under the dash again.

If anyone still has more info, Please Pass along

Otherwise i will update for anyone who has the same need of info.

Found this:

Ford-Lincoln-Mercury Keyless Remote Programming
<table style="" align="center" background="" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="90%"><tbody><tr><td align="left" background="" valign="top" width="100%">1. Turn ignition to RUN or ACC.
2. Momentarily jump pins in programming connector located at the base of the steering
</td></tr></tbody></table>

<table style="" align="center" background="" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="90%"><tbody><tr><td align="left" background="" valign="top" width="100%"> column. All doors will lock then unlock to confirm programming mode.
3. Press any button on first keyless remote. Door locks will cycle to confirm programming.
4. If programming a second keyless remote, press any button on second keyless remote.
</td></tr></tbody></table>

<table style="" align="center" background="" border="0" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" width="90%"><tbody><tr><td align="left" background="" valign="top" width="100%"> Door locks will cycle to confirm programming.
5. Turn igniton to OFF. Locks will again cycle to indicate end of programming mode.
</td></tr></tbody></table>

My experience:

-Turned Ignition to ON
-Jumped Programming connector (after jumped doors lock, Clicking sound comes from under dash, doors unlock after 5-8 seconds)
-Pushed Remote button ( nothing happens )
-Turn ignition off ( nothing happens )

Still don't know, Still would appreciate any info

Remote Battery's are new.

The reason I purchased a new one was the little hole that holds it on the key ring broke. Its a pain having to find your keys and your key less remote. It still worked perfectly, just wasn't on the key ring.

When i did the above procedure. It cleared the code on the one that worked and won't even let me re program the old on that worked.

Both Remotes I have are the same Product Numbers and the internal boards are identical.

All they guys out there that don't have key less entry are thinking Welcome to the Club.

Alright I figured it out. here is what I did to make it work

under the dash there are 3 wire plug harnesses that connect into the controller for the keyless enty.

I unpluged all three harnesses and re inserted them.

After that the above instructions worked flawlessley.

Hope this helps out anyone in the future.

No Problem PL,

When I first jumped the wires it would lock the doors, Then give about 5-8 seconds of clicking. then unlock

After I pulled the harnesses and plugged them back in it would Lock then Unlock right away.

Sounds weird, but it worked.

I saw them @ Autozone but they're 50-200 bucks. 50 I could probably live with but w/ my luck it'll be 199.
