live wire

I would like to know if the Livewire from SCT has all the bugs worked out of it yet. My brother-in-law has an '05 F250 cc 6.0 and was looking for a little more oomph so I suggested SCT. It is a nice set up if it works. Thanks.

***Bump.

I am looking into a tuner finaly. Had to work the girl into the idea of dropping more cash into my truck. I have been looking at Livewire as well. After spending atleast 4 hours now reading over the posts listed. I actually have noticed that most of the problems and complaints have been atleast 10 months ago. I am curious if everything was worked out with the livewire.

I have also read and maybe I am wrong, but if i purchase my Livewire from Spartan, do i not have the custom tunes that I would get with the xcal? I would like to get the livewire because of the pyro and other gauge functions I have read about.

Does anybody have any idea what is going on with the livewire?

Thank you,

if i were you i would hold out until Spartan releases the Phalanx. it is in beta testing right now and is far superior to the livewire. with the Phalanx the ECM, FICM and TCM will all be able to be tuned with a custom tune and it isn't going to cost a whole lot more than the livewire.
