B&M Shift Improver???

B&M Shift Improver???
I put a B&M shift improver kit in the AOD trans
I just put in my 89 Bronco. Did everything including
adjusting the TV cable but I'm a little uncertain of the
method. I found a video on the Bronco links page. The
man on the video said to undo the TV cable from throttle body.
Unlock the lock and let it slide back. Put it back on the TB stud
and lock the lock. Does this sound right.
My ? about the Improver kit is will this kit change the shift points.
I don't remember where it shifted from 1 to 2 but the next shift
was at 45 and now is at 50. Would this be the improver or improperly
adjusted TV cable.
