I want to convert my grey interior panels on the doors, console, etc. to black to match the color of the piece that is on the insider of the side mirror (top part of the door panels and the b-pillars, so everything is all black.
Does anyone know what would be the best match for me?
I use Vinyl / Fabric paint by Duplicolor they sell it at the auto parts store and it holds up pretty good. I used it in my boat and a big rig and that was over a year ago and they both still look good with no scratches.
Black is black, the key is finding the right product that will give you the right finish, ie: flat, satin, gloss. There are interior paint codes on the sticker in the door, a local auto body supply store can mix the exact factory color and finish, with the proper flattening agents in it to get that finish. some stores can even put it in an aerosol can for you. Good luck!
