Help with engine ID desperatly needed !!
Any help or a kick in the right direction would be appreciated. I am going to attempt a rebuild so I need to know what I have.
I had posted the above message in the FE forum and was told it is a 360 or 390. I went to the junkyard today, looking for a radiator support, and looked at motors also. My motor looks like a 302. Now I am really confused!! HELP......

In my eyes, you have a '76 302. FE's have a round bellhousing mount, 302 will be straight along the top. All pulgs in 302 angle the same way in the head, FE's first 2 and last 2 angle different ways.
