clutch grabbing

clutch grabbing
Has anyone ever experienced the clutch on a 1999 7.3 6 spd to be somewhat grabby enough to start bucking the truck while going through the gears?
It does not do it all the time but when it does do it to stop the bucking I usually have apply pressure to the clutch pedal and give it extra throttle.
I checked the trans mount. It seems firm. Visually inspected the motor mounts the bolts look like they are all there and tight.
Took the flywheel cover plate off to see if I could detect any leaks, seems pretty dry.
I'm not sure where to go next except for reading old posts about upgrading to the southbend or the LUK.
