Got Brakes

Today after work I was talking to the head mechanic and he said if I put my truck in the shop he, me and a other mechanic (they all really like my 69 Ford) went through the brakes. Man the brakes now work awesome the pedal pushes 2 inches down and you're actually braking ALOT better then pumping 5-7 times the to the floor enabling a coast stop.

So tommorrow we are going to tackle the carb. These guys absolutly love working on my truck alot funner then the same rental machines they usually wrench on.

Oh on another note while I'm talking about United, they are persuading me to go into the mechanical side of rental side apprenticing.

good stuff Ryan. now you'll get stopped as you come into yorkton.

there is something really nice about working on older stuff. not as much computer controlled crap and wires all over the place. i know i wouldn't be digging into my '02 like i am my '83!!!

Working with all the wiring and crap is, well, crappy! Working on the old ones do rock. Everything is so easy.

It takes different skills and different patience to work on newer vehicles, which alot of people dont have.

If you happen to need a carb I have an extra one here that looks to be in good shape.
