Drivers Side IC Pipe

I can't get the pipe off at the rad end of it !! The other end came off.. but I've been pulling and wiggling that sucker forever.. can't get it..

Does anyone have any tricks up their sleeve ?? Is it easier from under the truck ?? I'm going to have another shot at it in the am !!

Try loosening both clamps and pulling.

stick the plastic nozzle of d-40 in there and give it a squirt.

Definitely loosen both clamps. If you still can't get it try a thin metal ruler with rounded corners or a small screwdriver you can slip between the pipe & boot to break the seal. Just be careful not to damage the boot.

I did mine last weekend, had to use a thin screwdriver to break the seal of the boots.

I just losened both of the clamps almost all the way and then pulled and wiggled it.

If you don't need it off. Leave it on. Great to have a good seal.

Doing the foil delete... I loosened it all off and couldn't pull it off.. I tried getting a small screw driver in there to break the seal... I was afraid to damage the boot... I'll try it again this am.. Thanks for the tips !
