I have turned off the option to "Automatically retrieve titles from external links " below. Now it will let me paste the link www.lmctruck.com without all the other crud attached. Anyone know if this is a new default setting or if it can be set to off for default?

You can buy an aftermarket actuator (universal type) from partsexpress.com for less than $10. You should be able to adapt it to your needs. I bought a box of them last year, and so far have used 3 of them.
