Changing wiper motor
I have a 1990 Ford F150.The wiper motor makes alot of noise and will not work on low.How hard is it to change the wiper motor?My truck dose not have delay on the wipers.Can I just change the switch and get the delay or is there alot more to it than that?Thanks

You have to remove the cowling in front of the hood to remove the motor.
The delay function has nothing to do with the motor, it's accomplished with a module, you need this module and the rotary switch that goes with it.. a possible junkyard item.

Thanks for the info.Where is this module located?I guess the rotary switch is the wiper switch on the dash.I can pull the parts from my brother in laws junkyard.Thanks again.

the delay module on my dad's 87 is right next to the wiper switch itself around the fuse panel, the 92-96 is behind the glove box. I've read on here that you can take apart the module and re-solder the connections. I got a used one off ebay but I haven't put it in at the moment but for right now I just put in a 2 way switch so just the high & low, also I had to install a new wiper motor awhile back and it was real fun down in there with no room at all to put that clip on and I don't have big hands and couldn't get it and my friend has bigger hands than me and he got it.
